Our Story
Every great family business begins with a passion. For us, it began with a young boy, a hive or two, and a deep fascination with bees.
The man who started it all, known to many as Charlie Parker, developed his passion for beekeeping at just 13 years old. Growing up with his family in Hamilton, Charlie began with only a hive or two, focusing primarily on producing and collecting honey. What started as a childhood interest would eventually grow into a lifelong passion and the foundation of a family business.
We Bought A Farm
In 1970, Charlie and his family moved to Beamsville, where the fertile agricultural landscape of the Niagara Region presented the perfect opportunity to grow his beekeeping operation. As the business expanded, so did its purpose. Beyond producing honey, Charlie began providing pollination services to local orchards and farms, becoming an important part of the region's agricultural community.
After Charlie sadly passed away in 2010, his son, Michael “Mike” Parker, stepped forward to carry on his father's legacy. Under Mike's leadership, the family business continued to grow, expanding its operations to nearly 10,000 hives throughout Southern Ontario.
Today, we remain deeply rooted in the Niagara Region and proud of the legacy Charlie began more than half a century ago. Our work goes beyond honey. We support local agriculture through pollination, care for our colonies, and build lasting relationships with the farmers, businesses and customers we serve.
Built Over Generations
As one of the leading honey and pollination businesses in the Beamsville area, our reputation has been built over generations. One hive, one relationship and one season at a time.
We believe every customer deserves the highest level of service, and we remain committed to providing just that.
What began with a boy and a couple of beehives has grown into a family legacy, one that continues to thrive, one generation at a time.
